The North Louisiana High School Fishing League is kicking off the 2026–2027 season with the Back-to-School Bash on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Cypress Lake!
This tournament features a fun hourly weigh-in format, giving student anglers multiple opportunities to win throughout the day. If you haven’t registered yet, now is the time to get your team together and make plans to fish!
Tournament Details
Date: Saturday, September 26, 2026
Location: Cypress Lake
Entry Fee: $25 per participant
Eligibility: Student anglers from 5th grade through high school seniors
Boat Limit: Maximum of 3 participants per boat
Boat Captain: Each boat must have at least one adult boat captain (non-student, age 19+)
Two Divisions: Singles student angler division (not a team) and boat captain division
Hourly Weigh-Ins
Weigh-ins will take place at:
9:00 AM • 11:00 AM • 1:00 PM
There will be payouts for each division at every hourly weigh-in:
1st Place – $100
2nd Place – $60
3rd Place – $40
And that’s not all! We’ll also recognize the Overall Big Bass in each division, with payouts of:
1st – $100 • 2nd – $60 • 3rd – $40
Payouts are based on a field of 65 total participants.
Awards Presentation
The awards presentation is scheduled for approximately 1:30 PM, following completion of the 1:00 PM weigh-in. Payouts for all winners will follow.
Whether you’re a returning NLHSFL angler or you’re looking to fish your first league tournament, the Back-to-School Bash is a great way to start the season.
